Rounds For Safety Security & Intelligence Built-Up

  • Intelligence is the under lined aspect of Security through which a lot of inputs in maintaining effective security are gained.
  • The security officer-in- charge will be moving into sensitive areas and will be maintaining observations on the aspect of safety and security. He will also read the workman and any untoward observations will be recorded in his log book and communicated to the management.
  • His frequently visiting certain areas will also help in building up intelligence which is of prime importance in industry today. Through security officer will not be interacting with the company staff and employees but he will certainly be interacting with the contract workmen if at all they are found to be squatting or faltering on duty.
  • The security officer will maintain a log book, cyclostyled or printed copy hourly round report and will submit the same on the following morning to the administration department of the company. A specimen of which is enclosed for reference.
  • The Officer-in-charge will also conduct rounds on the periphery of the company and will hold dialogues with personnel found working outside of the periphery mainly for gardening or any other job to ascertain their bonafide and to maintain a check on different people arriving to work on different jobs.
  • During the frequent rounds conducted by the officer and the supervisors a check on different security posts will be carried out to ensure that the security guards are performing the duties in accordance with the systems laid down.
  • Each post will be issued with a dairy and this will be signed by every visiting officer, supervisor or our company’s Area Managers.
  • This dairy will cantain a sequential record of signatures and time in and time out of all officers and manager of our company visiting various posts on the site premises. This is one of the most important documents in the system of security and ensures efficiency in the performance of security staff posted at various locations on the site.
