Any material moving out of the company’s premises will be accompanied by a gate pass. The gate pass will be signed by authorized signatories which must be very few. A specimen signature of such authorized signatories must be held with the security officer displayed in the security cabin on which the signatures will be tallied.
Certain sensitive articles moving out of the factory premises will be checked by the security officer on telephone with the departmental heads to
confirm once again the outward movement of such articles. Company’s material and supplies must be allowed entry only during working hours. However, if vehicles arrive after working hours it can be allowed parking in the premises but must be unloaded in the presence of the store incharge and if so desired by the management, in presence of the security department also. The vehicles bringing in raw materials will be thoroughly searched while moving out of the premises.
Even while it is being unloaded, it will be under the strict vigilance of security personnel who will maintain a watch on movement of the personnel bringing in such vehicles. For better security the driver and the cleaner must park the vehicle at the ramp and leave the company premises unless there is a room in the company meant for such drivers and cleaners. They should not be allowed to loiter around inside the important areas of the company. The helpers loading and unloading vehicles will be of contractor employees with the identification badges and once the vehicle is ready for moving out of the premises security can be informed to carry out a thorough search at the ramp itself and then allow the vehicle to move out.
